MAECare is working in partnership with Leeds and York Foundation Partnership (NHS) volunteers to be part of the Waterfront Festival at Leeds Dock on 25th and 26th June to ‘Yarn bomb’ a canal boat. Yarn bombing is street art covering an item in knitted or crocheted yarn. If you are able to knit or crochet squares or any other shape, textures or size and would like to be part of this project join us at the Knitting group every Thursdays 2-4pm at MAE care office or bring them into office by 20th June. The squares will then be used to make blankets and donated to charity.
