The CAMEO group has a ‘relaxing’ afternoon this week
May 19, 2017The CAMEO (come and meet every one) group enjoyed an action packed gathering this week.
As the name suggests, CAMEO is designed to get everybody talking and interacting with each other and is aimed at people who can’t get out and about as much because of physical disability such as visual impairment, stroke or other illnesses.
This week the group enjoyed a long discussion, which included a little impromptu sing-along, and this was enjoyed very much by everyone.
In addition to this, everyone took part in a relaxation class, which proved very popular, even though as one person put it: “I found the activities rather tiring instead of relaxing.” But everybody had fun, which is the whole point of the group.
