Shadwell LunchMarch 24, 2017
The members were treated to an afternoon lunch at the Shadwell village Hall on Tuesday 14th March. They were given a presentation about Homeshare by Cath Ormerod a scheme encouraging older and younger people to share a household with benefits for both parties. They were entertained by ballads from Stevie Fields treating them to classics from Nat King Cole and other singing greats. His sultry tones had many dancing, singing, bringing back fond memories to many and even a tear. Thank you to the MAE Care volunteers who treated the members to heart lunch of vegetable soup, sandwiches with lashing of tea and biscuits.
