Shadwell Library tablet session
May 20, 2016
On Saturday 7th May, a group of MAECare volunteers descended on Shadwell 1-2-1 support to older people who are getting to grips with their tablet computers. Five older people came to the library with their tablet computers looking for help and guidance. It was a fun session, in a very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone agreed at the end of the morning that they had learnt something and had gained in confidence. The arrival of cups of tea and cakes part way through was very welcome and unexpected. We would like to thank Pam, Jake, Marco and Fiona for giving up their Saturday morning to pass on their knowledge and skills around tablet computers. Thank you also to the volunteers at Shadwell Library for allowing us to take over part of the library for the morning!
