Knitted ChicksApril 13, 2018
The MAECare knitting group were busy throughout February knitting colourful Easter Chicks for the St Gemma’s appeal. The chicks will be filled with a chocolate egg and sold in order to raise funds for St Gemma’s hospice on Harrogate Road. Our group had fun coming up with the most colourful and individual chicks around and once we started knitting, we couldn’t stop! We ended up with around 50 chicks and St Gemma’s were very pleased with the result. Thank you to the talented chick-knitters of MAECare knitting group!
