Kitty LaMare entertains…
September 21, 2018The delightful Kitty LaMare provided entertainment to 50-60 older people over afternoon tea and cakes at the Treetops Community Centre during September.

MAECare organised two events of vintage entertainment much to the delight of those present. Kitty sang songs from the 1940s from artists such as the Andrews Sisters, Ella Fitzgerald, Vera Lynn and many more. As well as having a fabulous voice, she regaled us with amusing anecdotes from her grandmother and her own homespun Yorkshire advice. Her repertoire extends to impressions of farmyard animals, much to the amusement of everyone there. She had the audience singing along to old favourites and even had some members dancing.
