International Day of Older People celebrations
October 7, 2016A group of MAECare service users sung their hearts out and learnt some new songs on Wednesday without any written words or music, they did it all by ear!. Our excellent leader Laura Taylor taught us short songs and rounds from all over the world.
The smiles on everyone’s faces told us how much everyone was enjoying the experience.
An excellent lunch was provided by Moortown Real Junk Food Project and the day was rounded off with an enthusiastic performance by the Cross Gates Good Neighbours Ukulele group.
Another group celebrated the day by joining older people across the city and working with Skippko on a photography session
