Dying Matters “What Can You Do?”May 18, 2018
Our Dying Matters “What Can You Do?” event on 16th May featured a presentation by Jack Kelly, Dodgson Funerals.
Monika Volsing, Morrish Solicitors, shared the importance of “Making A Will” and the complex topic of making “Living Wills and Advance Directives/Decisions” was addressed by Charlotte Bandawe, Michael Lewin Solicitors.
Tom Keating, Independent Funeral Celebrant, told us about the possibilities for creating a personal funeral ceremony and Patrick Bourne from Abbey House Museum bought along objects of “Remembrance” from the Museum’s current exhibition. The event included some “Myth-Busting” as well as hearing some of the most-popular songs played at funerals and we enjoyed a delicious lunch.
