Symptoms: Anyone who has one or more of the following symptoms should have a COVID-19 test as soon as possible:
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
- you’ve lost your sense of smell or taste or it’s changed
Testing: Anyone can access a test if they have symptoms. All sites operate on an appointment only basis. To book a test:
- visit http://www.nhs.uk/coronavirus
- call 119
- someone else can also arrange a test on your behalf
Tests can be carried out in the following ways:
- a visit to a test site to have a test. Test sites are open 7 days a week. There are a number of options available including walk-in, drive through and pop up testing sites
- Order a home test kit if you cannot get to a testing centre.
