Beat the January BluesJanuary 31, 2014
After all the excitement, anticipation, and sometimes stress of the holiday season, January can be a bit of a let-down and leave us all feeling at loose ends.
To help fight these doldrums, twenty people came along to the Mind and Body “Beat the January Blues” event at Alwoodley Park Methodist Church. We kicked things off with a 2013/2014 quiz to get our brains working and then all had heaps of fun making our own stress balls out of balloons and flour and lots of imagination!
We wrapped things up with some reflections on the past year and what our hopes and goals are for 2014. It was a great winter pick-me-up!
