An afternoon with Iby KnillAugust 25, 2017
On 22nd August, MAECare hosted an afternoon with Iby Knill, a survivor of the holocaust. She recalled her exceptional life of bravery, adversary and heartache. An accomplished novelist, she has written two books about her life story. Iby used words, documents and photographs to highlight her journey across Europe to ultimately settle in Leeds. The audience were able to ask questions about her life, buy an autographed book, then enjoy tea and cakes.
