Afternoon Tea
September 11, 2015Leeds City Council very generously provided us with refreshments and a cracking team of volunteers to put on a lovely Afternoon Tea on 8 September. They really went above and beyond, bringing along a cake fully decorated with tiny fondant cakes and sausage rolls! Such detail!

Entertainment was provided by the fabulous Cat’s Pyjamas, who performed their World War II themed variety show “Bless ‘Em All.” The show took our members down memory lane, bringing smiles to faces and at times a tear to the eye. The event was so popular that we’re going to be having them back at the end of the month so everyone who wants to will have a chance to come along. Many thanks to Leeds City Council for their hard work—you’re welcome back anytime!
