A great way to celebrate 20 years of MAECareJuly 24, 2015
“What a brilliant event so much to celebrate”
That was the verdict of many of those attending the celebration on Thursday July 16th at the Alwoodley Community Association.
From small beginning in St Stephen’s Vestry the project has gone from strength to strength, only possible by the commitment of many volunteers from the local community especially committee members who have ensured that the work continues throughout that time.
Ward Councillors in Alwoodley, Moortown and Harewood supported the event with MICE money and the Alwoodley Community Association gave us the premises free.
The event couldn’t have been run so successfully without the support of an excellent team of volunteers from ASDA headquarters.
